Puur! Natural Food is a coffee house and lunch restaurant at the heart of Groningen, the largest and most vibrant city of the north of the Netherlands. Puur in Dutch means Pure (you've probably figured that out already) and we try to live up to our name. We serve sandwiches, salads, fresh juices, coffee, pastries and pies - everything homemade, fresh and with a whole lot of love. And without artificial additives.

We use organic ingredients from local suppliers or from the fresh food market just around the corner as much as we can. The organic flour for our breads for example, is ground by a 18th century windmill nearby (how typical, we know). Our meat is supplied by a local farm where our pigs and chickens can roam around freely in their own little forrest field, living happy lives without the use of antibiotics.

Puur! is located at the Folkingestraat, in the old jewish neighbourhood in the centre of the city. The street is well-known for its many boutiques, exotic little restaurants and authentic craftsmen. Puur! Natural Food ist ein Kaffeehaus und Lunch Restaurant im Herzen Groningens, der grössten und lebigsten Stadt im Norden der Niederlande. ‘Puur’ im niederländischen bedeutet ‘Pur’, und wir versuchen diesem Motto gerecht zu werden. Wir servieren Sandwiches, Salate, frische Säfte, Kaffee, Gebäck und Kuchen – alles hausgemacht, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Und ohne jegliche künstliche Zusatzstoffe.

Wir benutzen weitgehend biologische Zutaten, produziert von lokalen Herstellern oder direkt vom Markt um der Ecke. Das biologische Mehl für unser Brot, zum Beispiel, wird in einer aus dem 18. Jahrhundert stammenden Windmühle gemahlen. Unser Fleisch wird von einem lokalen Bauernhof hergestellt, wo unsere Schweine und Hühner noch frei auf Feldern herumstreunen können, glücklich und ohne den Gebrauch von Antibiotika.

Puur! finden Sie in der Folkingestraat, in dem alten jüdischem Viertel im Zentrum Groningens. Die Straße ist bekannt für ihre vielen kleinen Boutiquen, exotischen Restaurants und authentischen Handarbeitsstätten.
